The State Game Lodge Turns 100 in 2022
A stately residence celebrating a big day
The original State Game Lodge was built in 1920 (which was shortly thereafter lost to a fire, and then rebuilt again in 1922) and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It served as the “Summer White House” for President Calvin Coolidge in 1927 and was visited by President Dwight D. Eisenhower in 1953.
