Custer State Park Resort is a collection of historic lodges and cabins with full-service dining, wildlife activities, and shopping within Custer State Park. You can find us in the southern part of the Black Hills of South Dakota along much of the Peter Norbeck Scenic Byway.

Custer State Park is one of the largest and most diverse state parks in the nation. Within its 71,000-acres, visitors experience 1,300 free-roaming bison, prairies, mountains, lakes, streams and all of the wildlife that comes with it. With three visitor centers, two historic sites, and four historic seasonal resorts that offer 228 fully-modernized sleeping accommodations and over 14,000 combined square feet of meeting space, this heartwarming wildlife preserve has caught the attention of NBC Nightly News, FOX News, CNN, National Geographic, Midwest Living, Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom, MSN, Thrillist and more.

Custer State Park Resort has been operated by South Dakota based concessionaire The Ramkota Companies since the contract was awarded in 2007.
